RTL-Westcan Group of Companies Announces Acquisition of ECL Transportation
Thursday, February 18th, 2010 – Edmonton, AB
The RTL-Westcan Group of Companies (RTL-Westcan) today announced the acquisition of ECL Transportation (ECL) subject to regulatory approval and other customary conditions. RTL-Westcan and ECL have entered a definitive agreement whereby RTL-Westcan will acquire substantially all the assets of ECL. This transaction is expected to close on or about March 31, 2010.

Following closing, Jim Davis, the current President and CEO of ECL Transportation, will be appointed President of RTL-Westcan and Tom Kenny will continue in his role as CEO. RTL-Westcan plans to rebrand the ECL Transportation fleet as part of the RTL-Westcan Group of Companies.
