Our Story
Since 1964, Westcan has grown from a small fleet based out of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan into a Western Canadian leader in dry and liquid bulk transportation. Westcan operates out of eight Terminals located throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, with our Head Office in Edmonton, Alberta.
Our primarily eight axle fleet includes tankers, hopper bottoms, pressure vessels, convertibles, end dumps, live bottoms, insulated tankers and pneumatics. We haul various commodities including petroleum, liquid asphalt, molten sulphur, lime, road salt, grain and fertilizer among others.
We have weathered the ups and downs of the Western Canadian economy and have emerged as a solid company with the financial resources to meet our commitments. In the future, our efforts will continue to focus on evolving alongside the needs of our clients, expanding into new geographical markets and forming partnerships that allow us to better serve the transportation needs of Western Canada and beyond.
