Calgary Driver Receives AMTA Driver of the Month Award
On Thursday, March 6th 2008, Calgary Driver Dana Brown was presented with the AMTA Driver of the Month Award for February. Dana received a leather jacket, hat, belt buckle and a framed certificate from the AMTA.
Dana has been working in the transportation industry for 19 years and has over 13 years experience in petroleum hauling. He started his career as a professional driver with Trimac in Kamloops, BC. After moving to Calgary he worked for Richardson’s for six years. He then progressed with a 6 year employment with TCT in their dry van division. It was at this point that Dana made a career decision and joined the Westcan family as a fuel driver.
Dana has been accident-free his entire 19 years as a driver, which is an outstanding accomplishment; he is now very close to achieving over 2 million accident free miles. As a result of this, he has been awarded Driver of the Year every year since joining Westcan. Westcan congratulates Dana and his family for this outstanding achievement!
